About
RaceTalk is an ongoing discussion, analysis and dissection of communications and marketing relevant to business technology, life sciences, medical devices and consumer technologies in the new era of new media. RaceTalk is the voice of Racepoint Group, a global PR agency with special expertise in digital and social media relations and working with global business and broadcast media. RaceTalk’s primary bloggers are:
Ben - Ben is a diehard Boston sports fan who enjoys sports, traveling (his most recent adventures were to Australia, Greece and Israel), and mint chocolate chip ice cream. Ben’s a dedicated member of the Racepoint softball team, Rolling Thunder, and an avid marathon runner. His must-see TV list includes The Office, and 30 Rock.
George - George is a former newspaperman – but don’t hold that against him. He enjoys reading really old books that no one reads anymore, running just far enough not to get injured, and watching his beloved New England Patriots keep winning Super Bowls. George enjoys blogging about PR best practices, communications strategies and the transformation occurring in traditional media outlets. George is the primary contact for RaceTalk Blog.
Kyle - Kyle is an ombudsman at heart, Kyle considers the likes of David Kirkpatrick and “Fake Steve Jobs” as friends. While off the 9-5 grind, Kyle enjoys being non-productive by listening to the “Sports Guy’s” podcasts, watching his beloved Red Sox and strategizing the stock move that will allow him to move to Mykonos. When he makes it off the couch, Kyle enjoys playing Futbol - “The Beautiful Game,” kite surfing, and using his mobile Facebook account. Kyle focuses his blogging on the changes in new and old media.
Ginger - Ginger is a television broadcasting-buff turned PR professional. She is a Cape Codder with a touch of southern hospitality and Irish sass, that puts her outgoing personality to good use on any social media site that will take her. When she’s not Twittering or scouring the Net for new Web 2.0 trends, she’s blogging about her coworkers’ lunchtime shenanigans. Ginger enjoys living in a title town, three card poker, attempting to run like Ben, sailing, country music and smiling. She focuses her blogging on trends in digital and social media.
