Google Has 53 Twitter Accounts 2

googler

How many accounts do you have on Twitter? That’s a question we get asked a lot by our clients, who often want to understand how they should go about setting up multiple accounts for their company.  Some we advise to tackle by division or product and some are better with a single account.

That said, it was interesting to see Google point out their entire list of twitter accounts the other day on their blog. 53 in total. A central account, some for ad products, some for Geo-based products and some by region. Seems like Google is tackling their ‘Twitter strategy’ within these groups. Nevertheless, it’s always a good idea to take a temperature check on where you are with all your company’s social media channels, ensuring that you’re not overlapping on information sharing (i.e. tweets).
