Larry Weber Releases 2nd Edition of Marketing to the Social Web

By Kyle Austin

Today is a big day for Racepoint Group and our chairman, as Larry releases the 2nd edition of Marketing to the Social Web. The first edition, published in 2007, was greeted with an overwhelming positive response and sold more than 30,000 copies.

Based on that response, and with the social Web evolving on a daily basis, the publisher (John Wiley) asked Larry to update the book with a second edition. This new edition , on Amazon today, includes a foreward by “Jimbo” Wales of Wikipedia and a new chapter on Facebook entitled “Does Facebook Matter?”. Like others following Facebook closely,  he believes it does.

In addition, the book also takes a new look at how to measure and quantify social media. Something that we are all trying to do in today’s economy. Larry is also marking the occasion by launching a flashy new micro-site. Check it out and check out the 2nd edition.
